NEW: SOCIAL HOUSING KNOW-HOW JIGSAW
We are happy to announce the full launch of the self-paced open-access 'Social Housing Compass' course. Participants can start this course at any time, and complete it at their own pace with no time limitations. Learners will receive full ongoing tutor support during their enrolment. This also includes assistance in tailoring the learning material to their own needs.

The course is offered at a price of only £175 per learner. For this all-inclusive fee we provide unlimited access and tutor support until all modules of the course are completed. On average it will take 4-5 weeks to complete the course; however, there is no upper time limit. A tutor will work with learners to develop and manage a schedule that meets their personal needs.

Upon completion, learners will receive lifetime membership of LearnHousing’s Compass Community, a virtual community/webspace for discussions and updates on topical Social Housing issues.

To find out more about the course - and particularly our special launch offers - please visit our website.

And if you want to know what the course looks like, and how it is made up, enrol for the 1-day taster visit by emailing us at info@learnhousing.co.uk
DEVELOP YOUR OWN
E-LEARNING EXPERTISE - Courses @ The Sheffield College
If you are working in a larger organisation, it may be worth cultivating your own internal e-learning expertise. This makes your organisation less dependant on external expert advice.

The Sheffield College has been offering online learning since 1997, making it one of the first colleges in the country to make use of the Internet in this way. The experience gained in this field is reflected in the quality of its courses, and in the acclaim that courses and individual tutors have received. All courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications.

LearnHousing's e-learning expertise is closely linked with The Sheffield College. Monika Strell completed the award-winning LeTTOL (Learning to teach online course) in 2004 and since autumn 2005 she has also been a member of the College's online tutor team.

Among the courses that The Sheffield College offer are:

* The E-mentor Course (10 weeks)

* The E-tutor course (15 weeks)
